The Most Romantic Hotel Fireplaces in the world. I will hightlight 1 in the USA and will add 2  of my favorite hotels in the USA and Canada.

Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur, Californië
Unieke architectuur combineert in zijn natuurlijke omgeving aangevuld met interieur aardetinten / hoge vegen bogen en dakramen. In een spectaculaire setting / deze 100 hectare resort vitrines de organische architectuur van kamers gebouwd op een klif 1/200 boven de Stille Oceaan met glorieuze Oceaan / uitzicht op bergen en bossen. Een afgelegen en romantisch toevluchtsoord voor verjonging met ongeëvenaard uitzicht / wereld klasse keuken / a menu van voeden spa-behandelingen en gratis activiteiten.

Als tegenhanger van dit extreem dure hotel heb ik de Ventana  Inn & Spa.
De reden is, ten eerste de prijs natuurlijk en ten tweede dat het niet direkt aan de kust ligt dit in verband met de June Gloom, dit is een mist verschijnsel wat in juni aan de kust voorkomt in Californië. Verdwijnt vanzelf maar dat kan 1 uur maar ook 4 uur duren en dan zie je dus bitter weinig.

Tussen de Californische kust en haar ruige wildernis ligt een resort klaar om te weven van haar eigen spirituele magie over haar gasten. Ventana Inn en Spa brengt luxe aard terwijl houdende de vreedzame wezen dat is Big Sur. Of je komt om te verkennen of om te ontspannen u kunnen heel goed laat een gewijzigde persoon. Omringd door redwood eiken en laurier bomen 60 ruime kamers, suites en villa's bieden rustieke verfijning en romantische allure. Alle accommodaties beschikken over een terras of patio met bos canyon of Oceaan uitzicht op de bergen. Sommige dekken bieden persoonlijke buiten kuuroorden. De meeste kamers hebben een aparte woonkamer en aangepaste badvoorzieningen haard die houtgestookte.

Het andere hotel wat ik absoluut romantisch vind en een prachtige open haard heeft, zowel binnen als buiten is Catherdral Mountain Lodge in Yoho National Park in British Columbia.
Deze prachtige lodge ligt midden in de bossen en de kamers zijn leuke houten huisje/cabins.
Ook een accommodatie in de duurdere klasse maar het is een top plek om te verblijven.
Goede keuken en een uitgebreid ontbijt.

Cathedral Mountain Lodge, Yoho NP, BC

Deze huisjes met stenen schouw en antieke meubels bevinden zich in de Kicking Horse River Valley en worden omgeven door de Canadese Rocky Mountains. De accommodatie organiseert begeleide wandeltochten en verhuurt kano's.
De huisjes van Cathedral Mountain Lodge hebben een balkon met uitzicht op de omliggende bergen. Ze beschikken over een ruime badkamer met een diep bad. Verder zijn de huisjes voorzien van een koelkast en een koffiezetapparaat.Opbergruimte is beperkt
 Het restaurant Great Room van deze accommodatie serveert streekgerechten, bereid met biologische en scharrelproducten. Op de uitgebreide wijnkaart staan Canadese en andere wijnen. Het restaurant is geopend voor het diner en reserveren wordt aanbevolen.
 Het nationale park Banff ligt op 30 minuten rijden van Cathedral Mountain Lodge. Lake Louise is ook in 30 minuten rijden te bereiken.

As an alternative for this extreme expensive hotel I have the Ventana Inn & Spa.
The reason is, firstly the price of course but secondly its not located direct at the beach, as in June the June Gloom can be pretty bothersome. This fog appears in June, will always disappear but can take 1 to 4 hours so no visibility.

The other hotel that I find absolutely romantic and has a beautiful fireplace, both inside and outside is Cathedral Mountain Lodge in Yoho National Park in British Columbia.
The lodge is located in the middle of the Woods and the rooms are located in nice wooden cottage/cabins.
Also an accommodation in the more expensive class but it is a top place to stay.
Good kitchen en a rich breakfast.

These cottages with stone fireplace and antique furniture are located in the Kicking Horse River Valley and surrounded by the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
The cottages of Cathedral Mountain Lodge have balconies with views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are equipped with a spacious bathroom with deep soaking tub.
The cottages are equipped with a refrigerator and a coffee maker.
Storage is limited
The Great Room restaurant serves regional dishes made with organic and free-range products.
On the extensive wine list feature Canadian and other wines.
Banff National park is a 30-minute drive from Cathedral Mountain Lodge. Lake Louise is also a 30-minute drive away.
